A Mountain Mike’s Pizza is in the works for Grand Prairie according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The filing estimates a completion date for the 2,742-square-foot location at 3172 State Hwy 161 in the spring of 2024.
Franchisee Raman Saini is spearheading this location, which will join more than 270 existing Mountain Mike’s Pizzas across the U.S. The California-based chain was established in 1978 in Palo Alto “with the dream of creating a place where families, friends, and sports enthusiasts could gather over the perfect pizza.”
Now 45 years in, Mountain Mike’s has expanded across 10 states, serving up what the website describes as “only the freshest, finest ingredients” that combine to form “Pizza the way it Oughta Be.”
Menu highlights include Mountain Mike’s crispy, curly pepperoni, and a variety of speciality pizzas like a take on a classic supreme called The Everest, Pikes Peak for meat-lovers, and Mt. Veggiemore for — you guessed it — the vegetarian pizza lovers in our midst.
