An upscale, elevated Tex Mex restaurant is adding another site to enjoy flavorful dishes and drinks. Muchacho plans to open its third restaurant at the corner of Cesar Chavez Blvd. and Jackson St. in Dallas sometime in the summer of 2023.
The latest addition to the brand is a first-generation space, so there is a lot of work to be done to get it ready for the public. Muchacho is currently in operation at 431 Grand Ave. East in Southlake and at 4011 Villanova St. in Dallas.
“We’re in expansion mode, and we wanted to be closer to downtown,” said Alec Marshi, owner. Marshi didn’t have specifics for locations or a time frame but told What Now Dallas they plan to open additional Muchacho restaurants in the future.
The refined Muchacho menu from Chef Omar Flores features a variety of appetizers such as Smoked Brisket Sopes and Picadillo Empanadas. “The best feature that I really like is the tuna taquitos, the steak, chicken fajitas. And, my all-time favorite is the octopus fajitas, which is a very unique dish. It’s very hard to find in Dallas,” Marshi shared.
Other menu items include enchiladas, tacos, soups, and salads. A full bar features signature cocktails including the Ay Papi and El Tigre margaritas, plus tequila flights, beer, and wine.
