A coffee and retail shop is being planned for Downtown Justin. Justin Coffee and Trading Co could open at 804 W 1st St. in Justin in the fall of 2023.
Co-owners Beth Cunningham and her daughter, Heather Maddux, are from a multi-generational family of small business owners and had a dream of growing their own small business in Justin. They decided to bring Justin Coffee and Trading Co to the area to “create a Feel Good space within Justin where families and groups alike congregate to make friends and memories,” according to the brand’s website.
Justin Coffee and Trading Co will offer local coffee, other beverages, and high-quality food items, plus a variety of products and gifts in a retail space. “This coffee & retail shop will be a representation of our family and the values that we hold true,” stated the website.
According to a recent project filing, the 1,500-square-foot space will undergo renovations before opening to the public. Construction will include relocating interior walls, plumbing, and electrical. Other changes include door and window modifications, plus the addition of terraces and pergola for outdoor seating.
