Blaze Pizza will open its first Mansfield location this year.
Coming to 3161 E Broad St, the forthcoming fast-casual pizzeria will occupy suite 101. It will be adjacent to salad bar restaurant, Salata, and will replace a former Zoës Kitchen location. The space of 2,700 square feet will undergo a full remodel to make way for Blaze. That work is expected to be finished in August.
The new restaurant is being brought to the area by QSR veteran and Restaurant Operations Director Nathan Robinett, who has opened a number of Blaze Pizza locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Founded in 2011, Los Angeles-headquartered Blaze has become one of the nation’s leading fast-casual pizza franchise concepts. The brand has over 300 restaurants across 38 states and in 6 countries.
Blaze offers savory artisanal pizzas and a customizable made-to-order menu featuring fresh, natural ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, preservatives and sweeteners. Guests move through a Chipotle-esque line where they choose the crust and ingredients for their pizza. The pizza is then flash cooked in about three minutes and ready to be enjoyed.
There are also non-customized pizzas like Art Lover – made with artichokes, mozzarella, ricotta, chopped garlic and red sauce dollops; Hot Link – made with Italian sausage, banana peppers, jalapenos, black olives, onions, mozzarella and spicy red sauce; and Veg Out – roasted broccoli, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella, gorgonzola and red sauce dollops.
Sides include salads and cheesy bread.
