Donatos Pizza is expanding in Texas with a new location set to open in Allen. Known for its abundant toppings, the franchise will celebrate the grand opening of its new Allen store on July 29. Located at 1259 Alma Dr., the Allen store will host a ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, with the Allen Chamber of Commerce and local officials in attendance.

Donatos Pizza’s Grand Opening in Allen
Donatos Pizza is opening its latest location in Allen on July 29. The franchise, popular for its abundant toppings, has two other locations in Texas, including Flower Mound and Frisco. A ribbon-cutting will be hosted by the Allen Chamber of Commerce and local community officials on Tuesday morning as part of the grand opening celebrations.
The Allen location will be operated by Shravan Bandari, an Ohio native who later moved to Dallas. Bandari says he connected with Donatos’ family-owned roots and its commitment to community.
Speaking of the opportunity, Bandari said, “I have always worked with or for family members, so I immediately identified with the Grote family and their dedication to growing the business together, as a family.” Bandari is eyeing the Plano area to introduce two more Donatos Pizza locations.
Texas Expansion Plans
The opening of the Allen store is a part of the franchise’s long-term growth plan across Texas markets, including DFW, Houston, Waco, Austin, and East Texas. The company plans to open more than 100 locations across these Texas markets over time.
Donatos Pizza already has stores in Flower Mound and Frisco. Beginning in 2025, Donatos expects to open several more locations throughout Texas.
Kevin King, CEO and president of Donatos Pizza, shared that Texas is a huge priority for the brand. “We are attracting very capable partners who are ready to build something meaningful with us in the Lone Star State,” he added.
