A new restaurant concept specializing in Southern dishes with a Cajun twist is opening in Carrollton. Erica Rogers told What Now Dallas that she and her husband, Lamar Rogers, hope to open Scorpions Restaurant sometime this fall.
They are renovating the space at 2650 Midway Rd. in Carrollton. Erica said the space previously held a bank, so they must convert it into the restaurant.
“It’s going to be a Southern kitchen with a Cajun fusion,” Erica told What Now Dallas. Scorpions Restaurant will also feature a full bar.
The interior design of the new Scorpions Restaurant will be trendy with an Art Deco look. According to a recent project filing, the space sits at 3,600 square feet. “We’re building a stage, so we’ll have live music,” Erica shared.
