A premium New York transplant is getting ready to make the mouths of DFW foodies water. Palladino’s Steaks & Seafood is getting ready to make its Dallas debut later this year, reports the Dallas Observer.
Dallas diners will be able to enjoy surf and turf in the 9,850 square foot space located at 5959 Royal Lane fated to become Palladino’s new home. Henry Johnson was recently announced as the chef de cuisine for the restaurant, taking on the task of realizing Executive Chef & Partner Sam Hazen’s culinary vision for the DFW market.
The menu is, of course, the thought on every area foodie’s mind. Future customers can anticipate a unique blend of meat and seafood; steak will naturally play a prominent role, however diners uninterested in beef will have plenty of options as well. Palladino’s will be serving up premium seafood and creative sushi dishes as well.
The restaurant itself will feature public and private dining rooms, a jazz lounge, and a bar.
Founder Joseph Palladino is feeling optimistic both about Johnson’s appointment and the concept’s Dallas debut. He states: “Dallas has been central to my career for more than two decades. After working alongside Sam in New York, bringing Palladino’s Steak & Seafood here with a chef of Henry’s caliber is an important next step. Henry’s discipline and guest-first mindset reflect the standards Sam and I have established for the brand.”
An opening date has not yet been announced for Palladino’s Dallas location, however it is set to open at some point this spring.
