Pending approval, an eatery known for its Korean rice hot dogs and egg toast will soon be joining the neighborhood at Blue Mound Rd in Fort Worth.

Based on filings with the city, Oh K-Dog is planning to open at 7060 Blue Mound Rd. The location is a part of Victory Shops at Basswood, a 8,474-square-foot shopping mall that is home to Starbucks, Verizon and the forthcoming SPENGA.

According to a property listing on Marcus & Millichap, Oh K-Dog has a ten-year lease.

Founded in 2020, Oh K-Dog currently has locations in Austin, Carrollton, Houston, Lewisville and Plano. Outposts are also in Arkansas, California, Georgia, Illinois and New York. According to the brand’s website, a Hurst location is in the works for The Shops at North East Mall.

The rapidly expanding national mini-chain offers one of Korea’s most popular street foods – deep fried rice hot dogs that can be filled with mozzarella cheese, squid-ink, rice cake, potato and more. The hot dogs can be topped with honey butter, parmesan cheese, coconut and other options and are served with dipping sauces like gochu hot sauce, cheese mustard and sweet chili. Egg toasts are also on the menu.
