A popular chain is preparing to offer some sweet relief to weary travelers in need of a sugar boost. Peach Cobbler Factory, a concept that specializes in southern-style desserts, is opening a new location in the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport later this year, reports RestaurantNews.Com.
The sweet shop will be making itself at home in Terminal D of the 2400 Aviation Drive transportation mecca. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that construction began on the storefront on March 24 of this year and should wrap by August 22. There is no official word yet on when Peach Cobbler Factory will open in the DFW Airport, however the 722 square foot eatery is on track to begin greeting customers before the year is out.
The airport location provides Peach Cobbler Factory with an opportunity to feed a large swatch of hungry visitors. CEO Greg George notes the impact of the strategic placing, saying: “DFW is one of the world’s busiest airports, and we are honored to bring a taste of Southern hospitality to it’s travelers. Whether someone is craving our classic fruit cobblers or one of our 12 flavors of banana pudding, we want every bite to feel like a sweet escape – no matter where their journey takes them.”
