Plano foodies, prepare to say “buongiorno” to fine dining, on the quick. Piada Italian Street Food has set its sights on the neighborhood for its next location, reports Community Impact.

The national chain, committed to providing a fresher and healthier fast-casual option, will be opening at 9605 Coit Road, Suite. 101. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the completed project will provide Piada with 2,452 square feet of space to greet and feed customers.

The filed paperwork shows that work began on the project on December 9 of 2024. Piada Italian Street Food representatives state that the chain is hoping to open on April 29 of this year.

Piada believes that the personal touch makes all the difference. The company’s website explains its ethos, stating: “We believe in eating well even when we need to eat fast. Great food starts with a few simple, fresh ingredients and someone who knows how to bring the best flavors to life. Every Piada is run by a chef — not a manager — who will personally greet you as you step up to the stone.”

First founded in 2010, Piada  found success thanks to its commitment to hand-crafted Italian cuisine. The chain has since expanded to include 57 locations across the United States.
