A global fusion taco restaurant is opening its second location, this time in Plano. The Dream Tacos by Chetra features a variety of dishes from French, Japanese, southern barbecue, Mexican, and southern East Asian cuisines.
Ingredients at The Dream Tacos are fresh, never frozen. Braised pork belly, lobster and shrimp, and a Beef Wellington taco are just a few samples of what guests can enjoy. Nachos and a variety of sides are also offered. The full bar menu includes domestic and imported beer, margaritas, martinis, and more.
According to a recent project filing, the address for the newest addition to the brand will be 8245 Preston Rd., Ste. 400 in Plano. Construction on the 2,000-square-foot space could wrap up this summer, but there is no word on when The Dream Tacos will open to the public.
Owner Chetra Chau opened the concept’s first location in Bedford last year. Chau spent 10 years working as a private chef and 15 more in restaurants and hotel chains before bringing The Dream Tacos concept to life. Chau also owns and operates Chetra’s Kitchen Grill & Bistro in Bedford.
