Zalat Pizza has yet another location in the works – this time for Richardson.
Coming to 1551 E Renner Rd, the forthcoming pizzeria will occupy suite 810 at CityLine Market, right between Pho is for Lovers and Piada Italian Street Food. An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but Community Impact reports that it “is coming this spring.”
Born and bred in Dallas, Zalat Pizza was launched in 2015 by founder and CEO, Khanh Nguyen. The first restaurant opened on Fitzhugh Ave in Dallas. Earlier this month, the brand open its 17th North Texas location on 950 W Stacy Rd in Allen. The brand has 16 other locations across North Texas including in Addison, Denton, Frisco, and Plano.
Its first two locations outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex are both in Houston. And two new Dallas locations are also in the works for this year. They will open at 1160 Peavy Rd and 6935 Hillcrest Rd., respectively.
And if our count is correct, the forthcoming Richardson location will bring the brand’s count to a grand total of 22 which will not be a bad way to end year ’22.
Some of Zalat’s creatively topped handmade pizzas include The Reuben which comes topped with shaved corned beef, Swiss cheese, and housemade 1000 Island sauce; Pho Shizzle which includes chicken, red bell peppers, caramelized onions, and swirls of hoisin and sriracha; and Pepperoni Masterclass – a New York pizza perfection that features 100% all-beef pepperoni, oregano, black pepper, and crushed garlic.
