Rodeo Goat is planning to kick off 2022 in a big way. The restaurant will bring its seventh location to 3111 Preston Road in Frisco with an expected opening date in March 2022. The Dallas Morning News reports that the Frisco location will take the place of a former Macaroni Grill and be the biggest Rodeo Goat so far.
Then, later in Spring, it will open a second Dallas location at 1200 N. Buckner Blvd. According to CultureMap it will move into one half of the former home of Highland Park Cafeteria and will include an “indoor-outdoor space with a big patio”.
Rodeo Goat currently operates six other locations in the Dallas Design District, Cypress Waters, Fort Worth, Houston, Plano, and Rockwall.
According to The Dallas Morning News, owner Shannon Wynne says it’s a good time for his burger joint to move into new North Texas neighborhoods despite his initial wariness to do so. The Dallas native and restaurateur is also the owner of several other creative concepts: Flying Saucer, Meddlesome Moth, Miriam Cocina Latina and Flying Fish.
Rodeo Goat features a variety of burgers, of course, but also sides such as cheese fries and chili; salads, desserts, and an extensive selection of wine, craft beers and cocktails. It runs weekly food specials such as $3 Moontang Mondays and Worthy Wednesdays that offers guests 1/2 price cheese fries all day.
