Owner and managing partner behind SevenWoks, John Kinzer, tells What Now Dallas the ghost kitchen started up during the pandemic as a take-out only restaurant serving dim sum and other bites in the Dallas area. SevenWoks, despite not even having a sign, developed a very loyal following, and as a happy result has given way to a new development, the opening of Onesan Dim Sum & Sushi.
“We will feature an assortment of traditional and modern sushi rolls, sashimi, and dim sum,” says Kinzer. You can also expect dumplings and other kinds of small bites made with top quality ingredients. According to a post on SevenWoks’ Facebook page, Onesan will open sometime early next year.
Onesan is taking over Suite 180 at 12300 Inwood Road, just north of Willow Lane. The 2,400 square-foot space, for which a certificate of occupancy is currently under review by the city of Dallas, was last occupied by East Hampton Sandwich Shop. You’ll find it next to Republic Texas Tavern, the spot where patrons picked up their SevenWoks orders.
We’re still a little ways out on enjoying in-house bites at Onesan, but you can stay plugged into those developments by following SevenWoks on Facebook.
