A healthy and refreshing national chain is helping to ensure that 2026 is Hickory Creek’s coolest summer to date. Local rockstar franchisees Noshad Meghani and Faizan Wastani are opening the latest in a steady line of DFW Smoothie King locations in the Victory Shops later this year, making the area a little more healthy and a little more delicious.

Meghani and Wastani are setting up their latest shop at 3100 FM 2181 #101. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that Smoothie King will be occupying a 1,500 square foot storefront. The eatery will be open in time to help Denton diners beat the summer heat; work is set to begin on the project in early February and Meghani was kind enough to confirm with What Now Dallas that he is optimistic for a May or June opening.

Meghani and Wastani are extremely well-versed in Smoothie King operations. The Hickory Creek location will be the duo’s eighth in the DFW.

Smoothie King has been serving up its titular treat since 1973. Powered by a menu full of customizable and healthy options, the brand has endured and thrived, with over 1,400 locations open globally.
