East Dallas foodies, get ready for a fresh way to get your munchies fix. Stoner’s Pizza Joint is getting ready to serve up hot slices to the region later this year, reports Culture Map Fort Worth.

The impish chain is bringing its mischievous sense of humor and delicious bites to 2325 North Fitzhugh Avenue, #10. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the project-which began work on June 17, 2024-will provide the pizzeria with 1,400 square feet of space to serve customers.

A precise opening date is not yet available for the East Dallas location, however the pizzeria anticipates greeting customers this May. The location will be helmed by local franchisee Wakaas Abdrazak, an entrepreneur with plans to extend the chain’s reach through the region.

Abdrazak explains that he is enthusiastic about bringing an original and innovative concept to East Dallas. He states: “We were looking to bring something new to the market that was different than other pizzeria. What impressed me about the group in charge of it is they have a background of doing this business for 30-40 years and know everything from scratch.”

Founded in 2013 in Georgia, Stoner’s has enjoyed a rapid rise in the pizza scene. The company has spread to include 50 locations and growing.
