A family-run seafood restaurant is bringing the heat to Keller next year. Te’Jun the Texas Cajun has broken ground and is eyeing an early summer opening, reports Community Impact.

Construction began on the new restaurant, owned by Joe and Tammy Reid, on November 7. Te’Jun will be erected at 541 Keller Parkway and is projecting a June 1, 2025 opening. The eatery will feature a patio for al fresco dining and will have a dock near the property’s abutting pond.

Owner Joe Reid is hoping to cultivate a joyful and homey atmosphere. He states “We always wanted Te’Jun to be family. You know how much fun you have when you open the [door] and all your friends are there? That’s what I want Te’Jun to be.”

The Reids currently own and operate two other Te’Jun locations-one in Robinson, the other in Red Oak. Future Keller regulars can look forward to feasting on a range of Cajun dishes, including gumbo, po’ boys, etouffee, and an impressive slew of seafood delights.
