The company behind a popular steakhouse chain appears to be looking to its future in the DFW. With its eyes fixed firmly on the horizon, Texas Roadhouse Holding LLC has filed paperwork to open a new Dallas location, with work set to begin in summer of 2026.

Described in documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as “New construction of a sit down restaurant and bar”, the eatery will be occupying 8,043 square feet at 3407 Cyn Blf Boulevard.

Locals eager to sink their teeth into a Texas Roadhouse steak will need to exercise some patience; work isn’t set to commence on the project until July 6 of 2026. An opening timeline is not currently available, however based on the information contained in the TDLR paperwork, it is improbable that the restaurant will begin feeding guests before 2027. The project is scheduled to wrap by December 28 of next year.

Texas Roadhouse was founded in Indiana in 1993 and is now headquartered in Kentucky, which may seem a bit geographically baffling, given the nomenclature. However, the restaurant specializes in preparing its cuisine with a Texan flair, a practice which has led to considerable growth. The chain has expanded to include 722 locations, fueled by scratch-made fare.
