The DFW’s next great Italian restaurant is sneaking into the area in a clever disguise. Future customers would be forgiven for not immediately assuming the Dutch, the next concept from restauranter Noti Krasniqi, served up Italian classics. However, that is the exact intent of the restaurant, set to open in Grapevine before the year is out, reports Community Impact.
Krasniqi has received a conditional use permit from the Grapevine City Council for his new eatery, which will be opening at 1285 South Main Street. The Dutch will ensure the space continues a legacy of delicious Italian cuisine; the storefront previously housed Fireside Pies.
The location will be enjoying a bit of a glow-up under Krasniqi’s watchful eyes. The Dutch’s application requested permission for an enclosed 944 square foot patio. The completed restaurant will have space to accommodate up to 186 customers across indoor and outdoor dining.
Krasniqi is aiming to have The Dutch open and ready to feed customers by Christmas, and paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation suggests he is well on his way. Construction is set to begin on the 5,468 square foot storefront on August 4 and to wrap by November 3.
Krasniqi’s vision for the space is cozy and welcoming. He describes it saying: “It will be a warm, stylish place for families, friends and visitors we have here in Grapevine.”
