The Henry, the neighborhood restaurant from Fox Restaurant Concepts – also known for Dallas favorites like Flower Child, Doughbird, and Culinary Dropout announces its annual summertime pop-up, reimagined with a brand-new theme for the 2025 summer season. Providing a fresh, tropical twist to the Dallas rooftop bar scene, Hank’s Hideaway will debut this summer, a new tiki-inspired pop-up bar offering guests a laid-back escape and island vibes right in the heart of the city.
Building on the success of previous summer pop-ups, The Henry is introducing a new experience to transport guests to a tiki-inspired oasis. From beach-themed cocktails to island-inspired decor, Hank’s Hideaway will provide a summer getaway. Hank’s Hideaway will be open starting Thursday, May 1 to Sunday, July 27.
Guests are invited to the rooftop space reminiscent of a tiki paradise, with panoramic views of the Dallas skyline, bold cocktails, exotic decor, and a relaxed vibe. The relaxed and moody indoor space will provide entry to the bright and tropical outdoor area, offering an abundance of tiki-themed décor, cabanas and more to bring a bit of paradise to the heart of Dallas all summer long. The bar will feature a selection of tropical cocktails, each carefully crafted with bold flavors and tropical ingredients, sponsored by Illegal Mezcal,. The mezcal brand is known for its distinct smokey, agave-forward flavors, making it the perfect base for Hank’s signature cocktails.
Hank’s Hideaway beverage menu features a vast selection of spirited summer cocktails including Benito’s Margarita made with Ilegal “Caribbean Cask” Reposado, Havana Club Añejo Blanco, charred habanero and fluffy pineapple, and the Coco Loco made with Bacardi Ocho, Ilegal Reposado, Havana Club Añejo Blanco and drop top sour, served in a coconut. Summer isn’t complete without a frozen cocktail, from options like a classic Pina Colada or a frozen Daquiri. Other additions to the cocktail menu include the Malachi’s Milk Punch with coconut washed Ilegal Joven, Havana Club Rum, guanabana, Spanish vanilla and lime leaf, as well as a Blue Hawaiian with Santa Teresa 1796, Giffard Curacao Bleu, fresh coconut water, pineapple and lime.
Featured items on the food menu include seafood bites and summer-inspired dishes. Delight in a Short Rib Potstickers with toasted sesame, cilantro and ponzu, or opt for Kalua Pork Sliders with passionfruit BBQ sauce, shaved red cabbage, Asian herbs and sriracha aioli. For a gluten-free option, consider the Yellowfin Poke Bowl with yuzu sticky rice, sriracha aioli, marinated sweet onions, avocado herb salad, toasted macadamia and togarashi. Finish the night off with a Lemon Olive Oil Cake with fresh strawberry, lemon curd, vanilla mascarpone strawberry gelato and basil.
Hank’s Hideaway will be open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday to Thursday, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Brunch will be available Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Happy hour will be available Monday to Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. with $12 specialty cocktails and select bites, $7 beer and $9 glasses of wine.
