Leela’s, a popular Dallas wine bar serving wines on tap, cocktails and tapas, has a third location in the works. This one will open in Uptown, as first reported by Dallas Business Journal.
What Now Dallas reached out to the brand and a spokesperson confirmed the news via email.
“Leela’s Wine Bar will be opening off of McKinney and Olive in Uptown, Dallas!” she said.
A timeline as far as the opening could not yet be given, but according to the spokesperson, the Uptown location will offer more lunch and dinner options than its two current locations in Lower Greenville and Trophy Club.
Founded by Ameer Patel and Patrick Bruce, Leela’s opened its first location in 2018 at 1914 Greenville Ave., taking over the former home of Crown and Harp. Its second location opened at 2980 TX-114 in Trophy Club in 2021.
Offering more than 30 wines on tap, guests can enjoy a glass of white, rose or red. Bottled sparkling wine and beer is also available. Specialty cocktails include:
- Leela’s Spritz – butterfly pea flower infused Dolin Blanc, orange syrup, and bubbles
- Espresso Martini – Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka, Mr Black Coffee Liqueur, Frangelico, cream, and cinnamon
- Leela’s Paloma – Lunazul Tequila, sugar, grapefruit, lime, and grapefruit soda
Light bites include smoked salmon and avocado toasts, warm roasted olives, Texas Wagyu beef carpaccio, and meat and cheese boards.
Leela’s also offers private events.
