Frisco residents wondering where their next great meal is coming from have their answer. Wonder, the food hall concept that’s been on every food writers’ lips, is continuing its DFW expansion with a new location set to open in Collin county.

News of the chain’s Frisco arrival comes via a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The form shows that Wonder will occupy a 4,500 square foot storefront at 4585 Preston Road. Renovations are set to begin this spring; work is slated to commence on March 23 and projected to wrap by June 1 of this year. While this does not provide a definitive timeline, it does suggest that the food hall may be open at some point this summer.

Wonder has truly lived up to its name over the past couple of years, enjoying meteoric growth. Much of that expansion has been limited to the Northeast, however the chain has recently set its sights on the DFW, with several new locations in development.

Dallas area diners unfamiliar with the concept can look forward to enjoying cuisine from a variety of concepts. Wonder, partnered with high-profile chefs, collects a range of restaurants in one location and invites guests to order from as many as they would like, all on one check. The food is then made-to-order.
