A bar that features interactive and playful installations for guests to take photos and socialize is coming to Fort Worth. Wonder Bar co-owner Darren Van Delden told What Now Dallas that they hope to open the Fort Worth location in September 2023. “There’s always something new that you can experience when you walk into a Wonder Bar,” he said.
Wonder Bar currently operates locations in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. “We’re from Texas. We started in Austin. Our intentions were to create this bar and brand and expand through Texas. It was a natural decision to make our way from Dallas to Fort Worth,” Van Delden said.
Each Wonder Bar includes fun, interactive moments, or installations, that are rotated seasonally. “I think what we have created is an environment and an atmosphere where it’s not only engaging socially but also throughout the property itself,” he said. “Very Instagrammable. A lot of fun, quirky, fresh stuff. We have a creative team that is constantly working on innovative and fresh content.”
Van Delden said they invest time and money into creating these moments for guests to enjoy. “We’ll do some fun cocktails that align with some of those installations, or we do it seasonally. We really try to make an effort to keep it continuous and fresh.” Wonder Bar also entertains with deejays and a dance floor.
“We’re always looking for what we think would be a good fit for Wonder Bar,” Van Delden said. “Fort Worth is a great market, and we’re excited to be in that city.” Wonder Bar will be located at 910 Currie St. in Fort Worth.
