Grillin’ Wings & Things is a Denver hotspot for wings. This is the restaurant where “pigs fly” under the specialty Pig Wings made out of bone-in pork shanks.

According to a permit filed with the City of Denver this week, a remodel of the current restaurant space on University Avenue is in the works. We’re talking new equipment, a bigger prep space, and probably the most important change of all: A move from dine-in to takeout only.

While the owner, Michael Godart, has yet to respond to our phone call asking for more details, it doesn’t seem as though there will be a change to the actual menu. This is great news for anybody who loves the Garlic Parmesan Fries as much as we do. Everything the Denver locals love about their favorite wing stop is going to be exactly as they’ve always known it — albeit without the ability to stay there while you eat.

As of now, no word has been issued on any changes to their Park Meadows location.
