Dutch Bros Coffee is expanding its presence in Colorado Springs with a new drive-thru coffee stand planned for Cimarron Hills. According to project documents, the brand is accepting contracting bids for a site at 5810 Omaha Boulevard.
This store will be located on a 0.62-acre site near Peterson Space Force Base. The site was listed by SullivanHayes Brokerage and was previously home to a gas station/convenience store and a car wash, LoopNet records show.
To make way for a new 950-square-foot Dutch Bros coffee stand, the existing structures will be demolished. It will have a drive-thru window and a walk-up service window, accompanied by a small parking lot. There will be no interior seating or lobby for customers.
Listed as working on the project are Armet Davis Newlove & Associates as architects and landscape architecture by Barghausen Consulting Engineers. Engineering will be handled by HTK Structural Engineers, Acies Engineering, and CMT Engineering Laboratories. Those firms did not respond to requests for comment.
Regarding the Omaha Blvd. store, Dutch Bros told What Now Denver, “We’re in the very early stages so we don’t have anything to share at this time.”
