Owner Ryan Wanner was determined to open another roasterie after closing his business R&R Coffee Cafe. And he will, as according to Springs Mag, Golden Pine Coffee Roasters is preparing to open at an undisclosed location in Black Forest.

The transition marks a rebranding for Wanner’s roastery, bidding farewell to the R&R name and embracing the Golden Pine label. Its establishment will serve as both a roastery and tasting room at first, then expand to offer coffee service.

With 700 square feet of space, he is excited to be in the community of Black Forest again, where R&R Coffee Cafe was. That location closed last fall due to leasing issues but was well-loved.

Golden Pine’s ethos involves the careful selection of beans from around the globe and a meticulous roasting process. The brand will also offer a subscription, with a monthly supply delivered to customers’ homes.
