A new Irish pub and brewery concept is emerging in the Springs. The Kilted Fitz is a business that’s been in the works for some time, and the owners are looking for an Old Colorado City location, according to social media posts.

Posts from the company’s Facebook tell the tale of how the concept came to be. The original goal was to buy an old brewery and transform it into a pub, however, that location did not work out, it was announced over the summer.

The Kilted Fitz is currently crowdfunding from the community and offering perks for donators, such as mugs and a lifetime supply of beer. There is a SpotFund page active for the company.

Its founders are a husband and wife who got engaged at an Irish castle and have a “deep love for beer and whiskey.” Earlier this year, they shared that LLC documents were filed and that a logo design was being drafted.
