Lava Island in Englewood Set to Open in December

Englewood is set to welcome Lava Island, a massive indoor playground venue with a cafe, offering fun for families. This exciting venue will be located at 139 West Hampden Avenue, near the downtown strip, records state. 

The venue promises to be the largest themed indoor playground in Colorado, the company tells What Now Denver. Boasting an impressive 36,896 square feet of space designed for fun and adventure, it will be a thrilling addition to town. One of 12 new sites opening throughout the U.S. in 2025, this new location reflects the brand’s ambitious expansion strategy. 

This new Lava Island is currently undergoing construction, with a projected grand opening aimed for late December 2024. The facility is valued at $1.5 million and will focus on providing a diverse range of activities for children aged 12 and under. 

The playground will include trampolines, foam pits, massive slides, and indoor climbing structures. Its café will serve a variety of family-friendly food items, pizza, chicken fingers, wings, fries, mac n’ cheese, milkshakes, smoothies, coffee, and more.
