After it was announced last year that Boulder’s golf course was looking to open a permanent eatery, the city signed a lease agreement with a local business. Tanoa Inc. will run the Ironwood Bar and Grille at the 5706 Arapahoe Ave. facility.

Tanoa Inc. is managed by Noah and Tanya Westby, who co-own Dagabi Tapas Bar. They signed a five-year lease with the City of Boudler and plan to open sometime in the summer.

The restaurant will be year-round and be open to golfers and independent diners alike. It will feature an American-style menu with dine-in and to-go options, and have a lawn and event space outside. Construction is underway right now.

“We are thrilled to embark on the journey of owning and operating Ironwood Bar and Grille at Flatirons Golf Course,” Tanya Westby was quoted as saying in a press release. “Our vision is to cultivate a vibrant sense of community, maintaining ‘old Boulder’ vibes while being ‘future Boulder,’ by offering a gathering place where local families and friends can come together in this incredible restaurant facility.”
