Belmar will host a new Great Divide Brewing Company location, according to liquor license records. The beer business will be moving into a space at 7260 W Alaska Dr. Unit D in the Lakewood retail area.

The company was recently approved for a liquor license at the location, state records reveal. It’s a commercial space in the Belmar plaza, taking over where Baker St. Pub and Grill used to be.

Brian Dunn started Great Divide Brewing Company in Colorado 30 years ago. The brand has grown to have locations in Castle Rock, RiNo, Ballpark, and one at the Denver International Airport.

The Belmar Shopping District was a massive $750 million urban revitalization in downtown Lakewood, Colorado. The area has 726,000 square feet of retail space with large retailers such as Target, Whole Foods, DSW and more, along with over 1,200 residential units.
