Peculiar Ales, which opened as Downtown Windsor’s first craft brewery in 2020, is brewing up a couple more exciting adventures over the next few months.
The first is a restaurant addition to their brewery at 301 Main Street, with the other being the opening of their second location in Fort Collins at 1831 E Mulberry Street.
“The restaurant for the taproom in Windsor is still under construction,” said owner and head brewer Nick Armitage when he spoke to What Now Denver on Tuesday. “With some equipment delays and things like that, we don’t know when we will have that ready, but we’re hoping it’s sometime later in the fall.”
The food for the brewery comes from a partnership with Comn Fare and will have food that’s designed to pair well with the beer.
Armitage, who has been brewing since 2011, worked with four other breweries before he started making headway toward his own. According to the website, his favorite part about brewing beer is that it’s a communal drink that can “bring people together to share life.” The hope for the brewery is to “provide beer that is set apart from the traditionally accepted standards.”
As for the opening of their second location in Fort Collins, Armitage says they hope to be ready by October 1.
