The city of Arvada is looking to have a beer garden and communal social spot built, according to Business Insider. The town is making a deal with City Street Investors for a project at 9248 W 58th Pl., the article says.

The Denver-based company was approached by the Arvada Urban Renewal Authority (AURA) about the idea. City Street Investors, known for developing retail and restaurant properties, will set out to create another beer garden venue, similar to its existing projects in Edgewater, Lowry, and Green Valley Ranch.

Records online show the estimated timeframe for the facility to be completed is sometime in 2025. A 5,000-square-foot building will sit on the 1-acre site, which is part of a larger redevelopment.

AURA has owned the parcel for eight years and will sell it to City Street Investors for $230,000, as well as pay for $1.6 million in infrastructure changes on the site. City Street Investors will be investing $4 million into the project to create a family-friendly atmosphere.
