An exciting new family-friendly concept called Playfull Day Café is set to open its doors in Spring 2025, leasing records show. Located at 3015 Youngfield St. in Golden, the business will be a unique place for food and fun.

The business is the conception of  Liz Keltner, a dedicated social worker and yoga therapist, who is passionate about creating a nurturing environment for families with young children.

“For me, motherhood has been messy, joyful, sustaining, hair-pulling out frustration, angry, sad, happy… it’s been everything,” she explained. “We want to create a space that sees and supports you in EVERYTHING and fills your cup because we can’t fill the cups of our kiddos if we’re drained; we need to share our overflow with them.”

A diverse selection of healthy food options, gourmet coffee, and smoothies will be available. The café will feature an imaginative indoor play area, with open play passes and memberships available, as well as music, yoga, and dance classes. There will also be onsite childcare so parents can enjoy the cowering spaces.

“Playfull is the commitment that everyone deserves to have their cup FULL via nourishing food, yummy coffee, creating meaningful connections with other mamas and caregivers, engaging in purposeful play with your kiddo (without having to clean up), and yes, even getting some space from your kiddo (balance is key),” Keltner added.
