Hammond’s Deli, a new sandwich place in Colorado Springs, promises to become a go-to spot for those craving fresh, house-smoked meats and classic deli offerings. A recent Facebook post from the announced the concept’s pending opening at 2925 W Colorado Ave.

Set to open in early 2025, this new venture will be inside Trails End Taproom on the Westside. The deli will operate daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, with open seating available until 3 PM before the dinner concept starts.

At Hammond’s Deli, sandwiches take center stage, made with the finest smoked meats, prepared fresh every day. The deli will serve a wide variety of classic deli sandwiches, including smoked pastrami, turkey, brisket, and roast beef.

The venture is the result of a partnership between local restaurateurs Jared and Deidre Hammond and Zach and Ciera Romey. The Romeys bring a wealth of experience in the food and beverage industry, while the Hammonds are well-known for their popular BBQ food truck, The Chuckwagon, which has built a loyal following over the years.

“My wife & I are fortunate to have joined the Hammonds on their next restaurant ventures.  We look forward to teaming up with them and bringing the same quality food & hospitality people have become so familiar with The Chuckwagon over the last 18 months,” Zach told What Now Denver.
