A popular Taiwanese bakery and café chain is preparing to make its Colorado debut.

85°C Bakery Cafe will open at 2767 South Parker Rd inside Aurora’s Parker Commons shopping center, according to a recent update from the property. The announcement, shared by the center on Facebook, confirmed that the brand is “joining the Parker Commons community soon!!”

The company was founded in 2003 in Taiwan by Cheng-Hsueh Wu, who had a mission to make high-quality pastries and specialty coffee more accessible to everyday customers. The idea came after Wu noticed upscale hotel cafés charging premium prices that made simple treats feel out of reach, inspiring a more approachable, affordable bakery concept.

Since then, 85°C Bakery Cafe has expanded into a global powerhouse with more than 1,000 locations worldwide. Its U.S. debut in Irvine, California in 2008 quickly drew major attention, with long lines and a surge of customer reviews helping fuel its rapid growth across the country.

The Aurora location is expected to reflect the chain’s signature model: a fast-casual bakery where guests select pastries from open displays before ordering drinks at the counter. Menu favorites typically include soft milk breads, custard-filled brioche buns, taro pastries, egg tarts, and layered cakes, alongside espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages such as the brand’s signature sea salt coffee.

According to the announcement, the new café will offer more than 50 varieties of freshly baked pastries prepared hourly, along with handcrafted drinks made using individually brewed coffee, including beans sourced from Guatemala.
