The incoming sweetgreen will open at 2770 S Colorado Blvd, Building L, Denver, CO 80222, according to a commercial construction permit filed with the city. The project details are as follows:
“Tenant exterior and interior alterations to an existing building. Modifications to include new partition walls, ceilings, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC as needed for the operation of a fast-casual salad restaurant. Scope to also include a new exterior patio with eight (8) freestanding planters.”
This is the third Colorado sweetgreen location reported by What Now Denver within months, with the first two debuting at 3620 E Highlands Ranch Pkwy #101 Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 later this year and 3985 Tennyson St Denver, CO 80212 at an unknown date.
As previously reported: In 2007, just three months out of college, Jonathan Neman and his two friends Nathaniel Ru and Nicolas Jammet opened the first sweetgreen in Georgetown, DC.
The trio had long detected a gap in their available eating options. It wasn’t hard to see that healthy, high-quality food meant attending upscale, sit-down eateries, while unhealthy food was equated with affordability, speed, and, unfortunately, substandardness. It was upon this realization that the three knew their mission: never sacrificing quality for convenience while simultaneously “building healthier communities by connecting people to real food.”
Today, sweetgreen offers exceptionally savory, plant-driven bowls, salads, and plates jampacked with veggies and superfoods, made from scratch and supplied from a transparent network. What’s more, sweetgreen stays dedicated to empowering not only its team and customers but the world as a whole as well.
