A new retail shop for E-Bike Tours and Rental Manitou Springs is in the works. The family-owned shop will offer several types of tours to see the sights of Colorado.

Gregory Cobble, E-Bike Tours and Rental owner, told What Now Denver he opened in another location last season. “Living here in Manitou, I was looking for something fun to do, and it took off,” Cobble said.

The original spot did not have a lot of street exposure, so he found the new, 1,800-square-foot space in the heart of Manitou Springs. “We decided to go for it since the feedback was pretty overwhelming as far as customers loving to get on E-Bikes, and we could see that there was a lot of growth.”

The new retail space will feature E-Bike rentals and tours, as well as offer several brands of E-Bikes for sale. Cobble wants to develop an outfitter store for hiking and biking in the space.

Visitors and locals alike can choose to rent an E-Bike for a pre-determined amount of time or join a private two-hour guided tour of Garden of the Gods. The company website states, “Our E-Bikes are easy to ride and provide a unique way to experience to beauty of Manitou Springs and its surrounding area.”

An E-Bike is a regular bike with an electronic component, which helps move the bike along without a lot of effort, or the rider can gear down and get a better workout. “We feel E-Bikes are in their embryo stage. It’s amazing how many people 50 and up are getting on and trying and then wanting to buy an E-Bike,” Cobble said. “We’re just excited to see people enjoying that and getting outside again.”

If you don’t want to bike, you can select a Pedicab tour. Up to three adults can enjoy the 40-minute Pedicab ride around Manitou Springs to view some popular sites—Miramont Castle, Garden of the Gods, and more.

The new retail space is located at 906 Manitou Ave., Unit 102, Manitou Springs, CO, and it is expected to open to the public in mid-February.
