A second Yoga Box location is slated to open in Denver. With nearly a dozen yoga studios spread across the country including in California and Georgia, Yoga Box will soon be in the build-out stage of its location in Capitol Hill in Denver.
According to the company’s website, Yoga Box co-founder, Amanda Burns, grew up in Denver and after graduating college, she moved to California. There she met Yoga Box co-founder and Canu Group founder Billy Canu, who shared her vision of opening a yoga studio. That dream first became reality in 2019.
Burns told What Now Denver that Yoga Box is more of a program instead of a supplement to other exercise and offers a wide range of different styles. Sculpt class includes weights and cardio that target different muscle groups throughout the week.
Yoga Box also offers Power Flow Vinyasa. “Every class is dynamic and different every time you go,” Burns stated. Recovery Restorative targets connective tissue and helps with flexibility.
The studio will house state-of-the-art sound and light systems. “It’s definitely more of an energetic fitness, athletic-driven yoga studio while we still hold true to the foundation and sacred teachings of yoga.”
Burns hopes to open the new Yoga Box in Capitol Hill in January or February of 2022 at 124 E. 9th Ave., Denver, CO, 80203. “It’s just such a great neighborhood, and it’s really in-line with our demographic,” Burns said. The original Colorado Yoga Box is in the Highlands at 2538 W 32nd Ave.
