A Chick-fil-A is coming to the First National Building at 600 Woodward Ave. The news was seen in several media outlets, including DBusiness Journal. Bedrock has confirmed the upcoming outlet and said that opening is scheduled for May or June opening.

The First National Building outlet will be the popular chicken sandwich chain’s second standalone location in Detroit. The other standalone Detroit Chick-fil-A can be found inside Detroit Medical Center. The chain currently has nearly a dozen restaurants around the metro Detroit area, according to website listings, and over 24 in Michigan. More Chick-fil-A restaurants are also in the pipeline as seen in past coverages.

Chick-fil-A will occupy an approximately 3,500-square-foot space in the First National Building. Other eateries in the building include Shake Shack, Central Kitchen + Bar, and the Roasting Plant coffee shop.
