Leasing material indicates that Shake Shack has just signed the lease for a 3,500 sqft retail space in Allen Park in a strip mall at 3100 Fairlane Dr. The space has been on the market since April 2022. Shake Shack’s lease term starts in February 2024.

Shake Shack opened its first Michigan location in downtown Detroit in 2017. The chain has eight other Michigan restaurants, including Ann Arbor and Rochester Hills. The Allen Park location belongs to the Dearborn submarket and will be the chain’s ninth location in Michigan.

Shake Shack is a New York-based quick-service burger concept. Positioning itself as “the modern burger stand,” the chain is known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, and Vienna beef hot dogs. Following its core values of sustainability and eco-friendliness, Shake Shack also ensures its restaurants strive for green architecture and eco-friendly construction.

Currently, there is no information on when the new Shake Shack will be open. The leasing material indicates a partial build-out on the leased space, most likely for the restaurant chain’s iconic outside patio. The upcoming location is yet to be announced on Shake Shack’s website or social media.

Other businesses in the same strip mall include Target, Panera Bread, Longhorn Steakhouse, and a Starbucks inside Target. More fast food brands can be seen on the other side of Fairlane Dr, including Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, Potbelly, and Chipotle.
