The Saginaw Township is heading into the New Year with a nice surprise. Goose Tooth Co, a new taproom and pizzeria operated by MI Table founder Amberlyn Hales, is coming to downtown Saginaw at 203 S Washington Ave in the SVRC Marketplace, taking over the old space of BoardRoom. The news was first seen on WNEM.
Goose Tooth Co. is expected to open in January, given the space is basically turnkey. The star of the establishment will be a 24-tap draft beer system. Accompanied by a menu featuring artisan, fire-roasted pizzas, Goose Tooth Co. is designed to become a new social gathering spot in Saginaw once open, though the business will also offer takeout options.
Amberlyn Hales was a successful entrepreneur, food enthusiast, and an upcoming doctoral candidate. Hales calls herself a “nerd who loves food.” Hales opened a farm-to-table concept called MI Table in 2019. Goose Tooth Co. is her second official restaurant concept. The pizzeria and taproom is currently hiring to get ready for its opening.
At the time of this coverage, Hales hadn’t replied to What Now Detroit‘s request for comments.
