The small but growing downtown Auburn Hills will soon have another restaurant addition.
A new restaurant called Alo’s Sports Bar is coming to 3315 Auburn Hills next year. The project is being opened by Elsa Rodriguez, who has not yet responded to What Now Detroit’s request for comment. It is listed as coming sometime in 2026.
The upcoming spot will have handcrafted cocktails and “crave-worthy eats.” Their menu has not been released, but bar food like sandwiches and appetizers are to be expected.
“Coming soon in downtown Auburn Hills, a fresh take on live games and nightlife,” says the description on their Facebook page.
The most recent update on the space was on Oct. 17, showcasing construction happening inside the space. The building is being completely redone, and it was originally Dimitri’s Opa, which is now listed as closed. No additional construction updates have been provided.
Alo’s Sports Bar will be at the corner of Auburn Road and Squirrel Court, next to Larco Bro’s Pizza. This is right in the downtown area, with Johnny Blacks Whiskey Park and Cantina El Dorado across the street.
