Bayt Almocha is seeing large growth in Southeast Michigan.
The Yemeni coffee brand is opening its newest Michigan location at 223 S Main Street in Rochester by early October. There are also plans to open in Dearborn Heights in December. The Rochester cafe will be owned by World Coffee Mocha, the parent company of Bayt Almocha.
According to Project Manager of World Coffee Mocha Fawaz Alabsi, there are also negotiations for additional cafes in Bloomfield and Auburn Hills. The company currently operates in Dearborn and Ann Arbor, which recently opened at 109 Catherine Street. The official addresses for the new locations have not yet been released.
“We’ve been assessing new markets, building partnerships, and refining our operational model to support a broader footprint,” Alabsi told What Now Detroit. He added there were three Kentucky locations opened last year.
Bayt Almocha is Arabic for “Mocha House.” Their menu has unique flavors of coffee like pistachio lattes, and the bayt special latte. The cafes also serve fruit drinks, smoothies, teas as well as pastries and sandwiches. Alabsi said the Rochester menu may be customized based on customer preferences.
The Rochester cafe will be right downtown, between Rochester Bistro and Main Street Billiards. It will join the many bars and restaurants along S Main Street.
