The owner of the successful bagel company is bringing more options to Detroit and Ann Arbor.
It is being reported Bev’s Bagels is coming to two new spaces, 4884 Grand River Ave in Core City and 115 E Liberty Street in Ann Arbor. The new spots will offer more seating and pastry programs. Both locations are set to open sometime in 2026.
What Now Detroit previously covered Bev’s Bagels that opened at 4884 Grand River Unit 1B. Now, the company is expanding to a new space inside the building. Owner Max Sussman first opened a home-based pop-up in Ann Arbor in 2023, then expanded to the Grand River location earlier this year.
Staple items from the shops include the bagel & shmear, over my egg body with fried egg, cooper sharp cheese and mayo, and the build your own sandwich option. Sussman plans on creating new pastry items with a rotating program.
The new Ann Arbor location is at the former Liberty Street Robot Supply & Repair, which closed in July. This is next to the restaurant Spencer, as well as RoosRoast’s downtown location.
