The suburb of Birmingham is losing a tea shop that has been open in the area for a decade.

Eli Tea Bar’s final day at its current location at 108 S. Old Woodward Avenue will be April 22 because the building is being sold to a new owner that plans to completely renovate it, as reported by Detroit Metro Times

Owner Elias Majid hopes to stay in the Woodward corridor and is currently looking for a new space for his tea bar, Mahid told What Now Detroit. The location in Chicago will remain open.

According to the company’s website, the tea bar carries over 70 types of loose leaf tea and herbal tea blends – the teas are ethically sourced from around the globe, including in America. The loose leaf teas can be purchased in bulk.
