Healthy drinks for before or after a workout are coming to Brighton in the near future.

From their social media, Brighton Nutrition is a new concept opening at 9864 E Grand River Avenue #200 in the city. The location was formerly Healthy’s of Brighton, a tea house serving acai bowls and protein coffees. An opening date is yet to be announced.

“Healthy shakes. Energizing teas. Great vibes. COMING SOON,” says the description on their Facebook page.

The listed owner of Brighton Nutrition is Jamie Craig who owns Ypsilanti Nutrition at 1338 Anna J Stepp Drive. The concept opened in 2022, and is almost identical to the new Brighton spot in terms of menu items. When What Now Detroit reached out, Craig was not available for comment.

Drinks being advertised are mainly chocolate-filled shakes and energizer teas with fruit flavors. Those stopping in will be able to get a shake and tea combo, with shakes providing around 24 grams of protein. No food items have been released.

The new drink spot will be in the Grand Crossing plaza with Mancino’s Pizza & Grinders on the south side of Grand River Avenue. A Crumbl Cookies location is also at the plaza. It is sharing a parking lot with Busch’s Fresh Food Market grocery store, which has a Starbucks Coffee inside.

Updates and the official opening date can be found on Brighton Nutrition’s Facebook page.
