A market known for fresh ingredients and delis is opening a cafe inside a new location at the end of the year.
Nino Salvaggio recently posted on LinedIn that the company is looking for an assistant cafe manager to join the new Livonia location. According to owner of Nino Salvaggio Frank Nicolella, there is not a set address for the marketplace as of yet, but the company is looking to open the new location in December. This would be their third market cafe.
Nino Salvaggio currently operates in Bloomfield Township, Clinton Township, St. Clair Shores and Troy. On the menu for the current cafes, Nino’s sells soups, breads, pizzas full and by the slice, salads, deli sandwiches like grilled chicken ciabatta and cold drinks. The menu for the new cafe has not been released, but it is expected to be similar.
The company was founded in 1978 by Nino Salvaggio himself. It was first Nino & Ray’s fruit market and then turned into the market known today in St. Clair Shores.Since then, his children have grown the market to what it is now.
On the Michigan Business Registry website, Nino Salvaggio of Livonia is listed, with an application submitted in January 2024. However, no address is listed.
