Chick-fil-A Opening In Chesterfield Township

To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief in the area

Chick-fil-A is opening a new store in Chesterfield Township on November 14th. The new store is located at 27322 23 Mile Rd, New Baltimore, MI 48051.

Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Township will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

John Shamam, the local Owner-Operator is a metro Detroit native Born and raised in Southfield. John later moved to San Diego to work for his family’s natural foods grocery store, blending his passion for food and an entrepreneurial spirit. Proud to call the metro Detroit area home, he returned to Michigan and began his Chick-fil-A career working at the licensed location at the Detroit Metro Airport, and later at Chick-fil-A Northville. Now, as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Township, John looks forward to serving the community alongside his wife and two children.

“I’m filled with gratitude to be given the opportunity to open a Chick-fil-A just down the road from where I grew up,” Shamam said in a statement. “My experience with family business and the food industry taught me how to be resilient, lead with integrity and create a caring environment for my team and Guests. As the local Owner-Operator of Chesterfield Township, I’m passionate about providing empowering opportunities and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Our restaurant’s vision is to be the spark, and I look forward to giving back to the community that my family and I call home.”

To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief in the area. The funds will be distributed to Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan and Forgotten Harvest, two partners of Feeding America dedicated to addressing food insecurity.

John’s restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program to donate surplus food to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.

His restaurant is also honoring 100 local heroes with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.

Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Township will employ approximately 150 full-and part-time Team Members.
