Following the grand opening of their West Dearborn location, Detroit Perk Coffee House is getting ready to unveil a third cafe this spring.

Detroit Perk Coffee House recently listed a new cafe, which will be opening at 7203 N Canton Center Road in Canton. This is near the intersection of Warren Road. According to owner Mustafa Ajami, the opening date will be sometime around April.

The grand opening of the second cafe at 22727 Michigan Avenue in West Dearborn will be happening tomorrow from 1-5 p.m. At the event, staff will be giving out prizes, free merch, and serving food and refreshments. Their flagship location at 22722 Ford Road in Dearborn Heights opened in March 2024.

“From the lighting to the fireplace, we’ve created a warm and inviting space that makes you want to sit down, relax and stay a while,” says a quote from their website.

The coffee house is known for serving seasonal drinks, with winter brews including the peppermint mocha, caramel brulee latte and the gingerbread latte. One of their year-round signatures is the golden perk, an espresso with caramel sauce, vanilla syrup and half & half milk. Their full menu is available online.

The Canton spot is significant for the company as it will be their most expansive brunch house. The other two locations have their brunch house inside, which serves sandwiches, avocado toast, pancakes and more breakfast dishes.

Construction at the space is ongoing, and it has been planned for about four months. Once the grand opening of the West Dearborn coffee house is finished, Ajami will be releasing more information about the Canton shop.
