The organic coffee spot is set to open near the Somerset Collection mall later next month.
The owners of Emari Roast Cafe have taken to social media to announce their cafe coming to 987 Wilshire Drive, Suite C. The company will be a franchise, and this is their first location. Owner Omar Al-Haidari told What Now Detroit he is hoping to open by the end of December.
Conceptual pictures of the inside have already been released, with white seats, trees, ferns, lights and patterned ceilings. This will have the look of a Yemeni cafe, with a bar top as well.
“We have a beautiful inside,” Al-Haidari said.
Omar is the CEO and founder of Emari, and he is opening the cafe with his brother Amar who is the COO and co-founder. Together, they want to create a space that serves organic coffee, as well as teas and refreshers. The menu will also feature breakfast sandwiches with chicken and tuna, bagels and pastries.
Their cafe is joining the plaza with Buddy’s Pizza at the corner of Crooks Road and Wilshire Drive. Other restaurants in this area include Seasons 52 and Yard House. This is a short drive from Somerset, just west of the cafe. The brothers are waiting on final approvals and for construction to finish.
More information on the cafe can be found on their Instagram @emariroastcafe.
